Senior Case Manager

Fulltime (36 hrs)

Treatment method
Yes We Can Youth Clinics treats 13-25 year olds suffering from mental health issues, addictions and complex behavioural problems by means of an intensive 10weeks residential treatment program and a bespoke aftercare package. Offering unconditional acceptance, love, warmth, safety and confrontation at the right time are pivotal criteria in success, as is working with multidisciplinary teams (psychiatrists, psychologists, experts by experience, youth coaches, support staff).

Job purpose
The Senior Case Manager is responsible for maintaining and improving Yes We Can’s outstanding reputation in the world as the number one provider of mental health services to a target audience in the age range 13 to 25. The objective of this role is to assure all inquiries and bookings to be handled with the best of care and families to experience the services of Yes We Can as exceptional or beyond. You are responsible for the entire customer journey from A to Z.

Position within the company
The Senior Case Manager reports directly to the Family Services Director and will work in close cooperation with the team at our Head Quarters in Oirschot.

Responsibilities

  • First point of contact, warmly introducing families/carers to YWYC
  • Explain the treatment process and admission criteria
  • Conducts motivational interviews with (future) fellows
  • Remove all barriers and obstacles for families to receive care
  • Determines fit between needs of the youngster and YWCC program
  • Carry out administrative work
  • Coordinate and consult with the treatment coordinator, the treatment team and secretarial department
  • Guide, communicate and inform internally when necessary changes occur within the process, both pre and after treatment
  • Supports the treatment coordinator, the referrer and the fellow/family/carer in setting up a feasible aftercare plan, timely informing all stakeholders
  • Optimise customer journey

Job requirements

  • Successfully in recovery from addiction or mental health problems for at least 3 years or you have vast experience with someone close to you who suffers/suffered from complex mental health issues and/or addiction
  • Familiar with the 12 step programme
  • A background in counselling/psychology
  • Preferably experience with demanding (international) clientele
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Minimum 5 years work experience
  • Knowledge and control of MS Office and preferably also CRM (SalesForce).
  • Strong communication and client service skills
  • Fluent in English, preferably also a few other foreign languages
  • Energetic, yet oozing calm and confidence
  • An outgoing personality, high emphatic skills
  • A self-starting attitude and the strong desire to add value to the organization
  • Able to reflect and advise families in a constructive way
  • Problem solver with a helicopter view
  • Supportive, but not co-dependent
  • Hands-on professional
  • Warm, empathic but firm when situations require
  • Customer focused, exceeding expectations
