The Yes We Can Healthcare Group believes it is crucial to monitor our treatment effectiveness, client satisfaction, and reviews, from fellows and their parents or caregivers. We do this by commissioning independent research.
According to research conducted by the independent research bureau Quelsa, that surveyed thousands of our former fellows, our treatment is effective for the vast majority of young people. This research found that 74% of fellows no longer required specialised care after completing their treatment at Yes We Can. More insights from this study can be found on the infographic below. For over a decade we have monitored the satisfaction levels of our fellows and their parents and caregivers after treatment. To do this, we use two instruments.
For fellows under the age of 18, we use the CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) Youth Thermometer. This is a standardised questionnaire used to measure satisfaction levels among younger patients and their parents or caregivers. For fellows 18 and older, we use a shortened version of the CQC-index. This is another trusted monitoring instrument.
Yes We Can Youth Clinics is rated approximately one full point higher, on average, than other care institutions in the Netherlands. Moreover, we are recommended by 73% of participants compared to the national average of 27%. Additionally, 73% of participants rated their therapist as competent while 71% felt that the treatment they received was the right approach for their specific problems.
The Dutch website ZorgkaartNederland is run by the Dutch national patient federation and represents more than 200 patient organisations. The platforms aims to help patients and their families make informed healthcare choices by providing access to reviews and ratings of healthcare professionals and organisations.
